Herb Stratford (BFCA Member)

Herb Stratford is the film critic for KVOA 4-NBC in Tucson. He can  also be seen in print in Zocalo Magazine and on the radio at KLPX &  KFMA Thursdays. He has served as a juror at the Slamdance Film Festival  in Park City, UT and teaches Arts Management at the University of  Arizona.

He restored and ran the Fox Tucson Theatre, a 1929 art deco movie  palace and is a nationally recognized preservation professional working  with historic theatres across the U.S. Formerly the Program Director at  the Napa Valley Film Festival, his other projects also included starting  one of the first U.S. film festivals devoted to Mexican film. He is  also currently the co-producer/programmer of the Tucson Festival of  Films.
