Samantha Incorvaia is a an arts and entertainment producer and journalist at The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com. She has worked at the Pulitzer prize-winning newsroom in multiple departments, including sports and business. While in features, she has covered large events in the Valley such as Phoenix Fan Fusion and the premiere of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
She moved to Arizona with her family from New York in 2002, but she’s seen enough monsoons to practically be a desert native. A graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, she began her career at The Republic after interning at the newsroom for a year. She interned through prestigious programs such as The Dow Jones News Fund and the Pulliam Fellowship at The Republic where she learned from some of the brightest journalists in the field.
Incorvaia has consistently been writing movie reviews since May 2018, but she’s had a life-long love for movies. If you ask her friends, she’s always the first to guess Oscar nominations and print ballots when they’re revealed.
